2018 UPMA National Convention, July 20-27th in Reno, Nevada
Nicole Vandy, our Business Development Representative, was at the Reno National UPMA Convention. Vandy had these kind words to say about the convention, “My first UPMA national convention was an extension of the wonderful state convention I had attended leading up to Reno. As I reflect, I just keep seeing beautiful smiling faces replay in my head. Many coming by our table not just inquiring for information for themselves. Their leadership was ever present as they asked about our servicing for the postal employees they lead. Many had a concern they were not aware of the benefits that can be utilized and don’t take advantage. The host city coming by and checking on us. Appreciative of the volunteer’s hospitality suite and Golf tournament sponsorship. I had so much fun reuniting with my Bingo queens from Texas. Great dinner with my Arkansas friends. They have the feistiest and can cut a rug with the best of them. The money bag is always a draw. We even played for fun the guess the weight. Reno was a bit hotter than expected. But did not disappoint. The takeaway moment was the closing day with all the state delegation signs. The excitement of the General Postmaster speaking. A reminder of the hard work of getting mail across a vast lay of the land with integrity and dutiful loyalty.”

2017 United States Postmaster and Managers of America UPMA National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky
Federal Employee Service Association (FESA) had a great time at the 2017 UPMA national convention in Louisville, KY. This year our booth representatives were Bill Roberts, Joe Strother, and Ron Karrels. They enjoyed meeting all the Postmasters and giving away the “Big O’ Bag of Money”. This year we had two winners, Jeonilla Van Houten and Warren Lee! There was a total of $327 in the bag and they both guessed $327 exactly.
